Obtained Associates Degree of Science (A.S.) in Biological and Physcial Science and and A.A. in Psychology. I am currently attending CSU-Channel Islands, working towards my Bachelors in Psychology.

Experience

I have tutored class mates through out my education, (elementary through college) as well as tutored peers from grades below my current grade level. I also work at a tutoring company where I have private, one-on-one sessions and groups for after school homework assistance. I took the PSAT/SAT and scored reasonably well on both exams, residing in the 90th percentile. Special interest classes that I have taken over the years and received high scores/A+ grades are the following: Anatomy and Physiology; Abnormal, Physiological and Developmental Psychology; Learning, Cognition and Perception (Psychology); Clinical and Abnormal Psychology; Geology; AP English as well as several Philosophy classes. I have also taken several medical classes in high school and obtained much information on health science, medical terminology and health safety procedures.

Hobbies

With College and work, I don't have much down time for many hobbies. However, I do make it a point to relax by going out with friends, such as playing basketball, pool or going for a hike. I also take some time to myself to read a book or articles online on personal interests. These include science, music, world/local news and current health issues. I would describe myself as a very studious person who has acquired several academic achievements with a nice balance between work and play. When it comes down to it, I know how to have fun while getting all of my academic priorities accomplished which I believe is a key characteristic to have; especially with the pressures of school/college overhead.
