Working with children in LAUSD classroom settings for the past 5+ years, I've come to the realization that it is a great accomplishment to teach a child new information. Whether it is tying your shoes, learning to write, or figuring out an equation, I truly enjoy taking the time to make sure that students have a true understanding of what they are learning. I like to create fun and imaginative activities to incorporate into lessons, and use positive reinforcement and incentives, such as stickers or pencils, to get students even more motivated to learn.
