I have a bachelor's in Math from Cal State Northridge. I also have earned my Mathematics Teaching Credential, and very much enjoy Math and teaching it. My approach is to use both example-based teaching and discovery in my classroom. I use these same tools and techniques when I tutor. I have found that when I can link Math to scenarios and examples from a student's world, they more easily discover the relevance and importance that Math has.
